Daisy Jones and The Six is the upcoming television miniseries that will soon premiere on Amazon Prime. The TV series which is set to have ten episodes, it’s based on a book by the same name Daisy Jones and The Six by the bestseller writer Taylor Jenkins Reid. Jenkins is better known as a writer for her book The Seven Husbands of Evelyn Hugo, published in 2017.
Daisy Jones and The Six follows a rock band in the 70s, their beginnings, their rise to the top, and their sudden split as well as the legend they left behind. Taylor Jenkins Reid has said that the fictional band is in some part inspired by Fleetwood Mac, and her experience watching them perform.
The TV series will follow the same documentary style that the book is so well known for. The series will release the songs that are included in the book. Some songs like, Regret Me, were released before the premiere of the series, having a good reception among the fans of the book, and as a consequence raising the expectation for the TV show.
Daisy Jones & The Six is set to premiere on Amazon Prime Video on March 3, 2023.
